The Role:

· We are recruiting for permanent Night Shift Bakery Operatives working 6 rotating days during the nights for the production plant based at the client Njiro site.

· Safety is First at our client Bakeries, so we’re looking for someone to lead by example in ensuring that Health and Safety is our number one priority, and someone who is able to think and behave safely at all times.

· The Njiro site is an integral part of our client success within the bread industry and produces a wide variety of loaves and buns including seeded and fruit lines alongside their crust away, whole meal, 50/50 and little big loaf varieties. We are now looking for Bakery Operatives to join the client team and to continue building on our success.

· We don’t need you to be an expert in manufacturing hundred percent; you will be taught a bit. What we do need is your passion and enthusiasm. Still interested? Something to keep in mind is that our production lines work day and night and we need you for night shift only, so you’ll need to be flexible and be able to work night shift pattern. Night shift is 12 hours in length.

Skills and Experience:

· Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment is desirable

· Ability to work to a high standard and ensure site quality and safety standards are met

· Drive for Results with enthusiasm and determination to meet required standards

· Desire to develop and progress own skills and experience

· Able to work under pressure in a fast passed and complex environment

· Willing to contribute new ideas with a focus on continuous improvement

· Able to work as part of a night shift team as well as alone using your own initiative

Training will be provided; Basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous.

Note that:
An element of flexibility may be required on the above hours due to the needs of the business.


Remuneration:

Negotiable.

When to Start: Immediate commencement for the successful candidate.
