Duties and responsibilities:

The primary objective for this role is to conduct internal audit assignments throughout the group. The person will also participate in delivering risk management services to relevant functional areas within Acacia. In addition, the individual will be called upon to travel to the operational sites, currently mostly located in Tanzania and, on occasion, to South Africa.
This is a permanent role based in Dar es Salaam, with travel to the Acacia operations.

Qualification Requirements:

This role reports to the Technical Services Manager and the role holder will be accountable to provide leadership to the site Life of Mine (LOM) planning process to ensure optimal exploitation of the mineral resources.
This is a permanent/ fixed term contract role, with the work roster being six weeks on and three weeks off.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership to the team and live the Acacia desired behaviours
• Lead a team of mining engineers to deliver integrated mine plans that ensure value creation
• Maintain the essential link between long-term mine plans and the short-term planning for both open pit and underground
• Identify opportunities that create value and develop strategic projects aimed at improving mine efficiency and flexibility
• Lead the site cut-off grade calculation and prepare the Ore Reserves statement accurately and on time
• Lead the delivery of medium-term and LOM designs and schedules for both open pit and underground
• Lead the production of the yearly budget; 5year and LOM plans for financial evaluation
• Ensure all mine plans reflect all the audited inputs (e.g. geotechnical slope criteria, cost, revenues, earthmoving productivities, etc.)

• Use the LOM planning process to drive the culture of business improvement on the mine ( e.g. driving cost reduction initiatives)

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Qualification Requirements:

Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in both open pit and underground mining operations with strong long-term mine planning experience

These positions provide technical support services to customers, dealers and sales personnel in order to promote brand products and resolve customer problems and complaints about product performance; lends service to the sales force as needed
We are looking for Agronomist Sale Experts in a field of;
  • Crop protections/chemicals
  • Flowers
  • Drip irrigation
  • Green Houses
  • High breed seeds
Responsibilities Include:
· Identifying customers to offer services, and closing sales to these customers
· Aiding in the decision making process of customers for decisions related to agronomy
· Handling a customer base of 12 to 20 – depending on size and services needed
· Looking for integrated agronomic solutions and opportunities for farmers
Requirements
· Post-Secondary education degree or diploma in Agronomy, Soil Science or related areas
· Strong agronomic knowledge
· Must be innovative in thinking
· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
· Strong interpersonal skills and sales training is an asset
· Valid Driver’s License
