This is a leading, global organisation who provide innovative and consultative approach to the defence industry in Australia. They are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team at Garden Island in Sydney.
Your new role
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be reporting to the Principal Mechanical Engineer on all aspects of the engineering activities where required, as well as providing Subject Matter Expertise for the mechanical engineering matters. Your main responsibilities include monitoring and analysing of the systems performance, conducting technical investigations, developing reports, and designing solutions to issues found. You will be required to assist with the engineering changes as well as providing technical advice to support the project.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you must be a degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in the Defence industry in Australia. In particular experience within a naval environment would be highly regarded. As this is a Defence opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance.
