Job Title: Procurement Manager (PM)
Report to: General Manager (GM)
Purpose and Scope of Position
The Head of Procurement Management Unit shall organize, plan and manage all procurement undertakings of the Corporation accordance with PPA and its regulations. Also shall align procurement with mission and vision of the Corporation.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage procurement and disposal by tender procedures.
• Supports the functioning of the tender board.
• Implements the decisions of the tender board.
• Custodian of all procurement documents.
• Attends to audit queries relating to procurement of-materials and sales.
• Prepares tendering documents.
• Prepares advertisement of tender opportunities.
• Prepares contract documents.
• Issues approved tender-documents.
• Maintains and archive records of the procurement and disposal process.
• Maintains a list of register of all contracts awarded.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for the management, tender board and PPRA.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
• Holder of a Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management.
• Registered member of the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board of (PSPTB) of Tanzania.
• Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Experience in participating in tender processes and framework agreements.
• Working experience at least8 years, of which 3 must be at a senior lev~1.
• Proven high administrative and managerial ability is essential.

Remuneration
A competitive and attractive salary of 1,842,500 X 12 will be paid to a successful candidate.
