POSITION: DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY ANATOMY (1 POSITION)

Discipline: Leather Processing and Production

QUALIFICATION:
Possession of a BVM/BVSc/Animal Science with a minimum GPA of not less than 3.8 out of 5 or a minimum of “B” grade for BVM and a MSc. in Veterinary Medicine/ Anatomy Physiology/ Pathology/Meat Science with a minimum GPA of not less than 4.0 out of 5. The candidate must have a “B” grade or above in Veterinary Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology or related subjects at undergraduate.

The Management of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) invites suitable qualified Tanzanians to apply for positions of Tutorial Assistant and Assistant Lecturer.

POSITION: ASSISTANT LECTURER (3 POSITIONS)

Duties and Responsibilities
a) To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals for undergraduate programmes;
b) To prepare and present case studies;
c) To conduct and publish/disseminate research results;
d) To recognize students having difficulties, intervene and provide help and support;
e) To participate in consultancies and community services under supervision;
o To attend workshops, conferences and symposia; and
g) To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authorities.

Age: Not above 45 years of age

Remuneration:
As per Treasury Registrar’s Circular NO.7 of 2015, which is applicable at the moment.
