Mwalimu Commercial Bank PLC (In-Formation) is a new bank licensed by the Bank of Tanzania to operate as a commercial bank, and is in its final stages of setting up operations. The major shareholders of the bank include Tanzania Teachers; Union(TTU), Teacher’s Development Company Limited (TDCL), PublicService Pension Fund (PSPF) and the National Insurance Fund (NHIF).
