DMU
is an ambitious, truly globally-minded institution with a relentless
focus on delivering high quality across all aspects of its offer, a
commitment which has made it the most improved university according to
the Sunday Times league table. A culturally rich university with a
strong commitment to the public good, it strives to maintain a
stimulating, innovative and inclusive environment where staff and
students are able to thrive. Staff and students at DMU have access to
world class facilities including our £8 million sports facility, the
Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre, and will benefit from
an ongoing £136 million campus development initiative.
As
part of our continued growth, De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) is
establishing Leicester Castle Business School. Building on our
reputation for high quality research and teaching, particularly in
post-graduate and executive education, the school will offer a portfolio
of inter-disciplinary and creative new courses for high-calibre
students. Headquartered in the historic Great Hall of Leicester Castle
and drawing upon expertise and corporate connections throughout DMU,
this new business school will foster a strong and collaborative research
community. Faculty appointees have the opportunity to be part of the
development of a prestigious global business school that will
distinguish itself by research and educational initiatives that are
cross-disciplinary, impactful and cutting edge. Drawing upon strong
contacts with local and global organisations, the Leicester Castle
Business School will be a hub for connecting with business leaders,
leading researchers and new research and teaching opportunities. The new
Principal has made a strong commitment to ensuring that faculty members
receive sufficient mentoring, support and development to achieve high
global standards of research and teaching.
We
