The successful candidate will be reporting to the Electrical and Instrumentation Manager and will be engaged on permanent and pensionable terms.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsible for the management of Electrical Section.
• Overall responsible for all maintenance and capital projects.
• Optimizing functionality of processes and electricity supply to reduce losses and improve overall efficiency.
Job Requirements
• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• At least five years experience in similar post.
• Extensive knowledge in electrical generation, protection and distribution.
• Computer literacy.
• Effective communication in English language.
• Burning desire to succeed in a high performance environment.
• Ready to work long hours.
• Sound mental and physical health.

Kilombero Sugar Company the largest producer of sugar in the country is also producing alcohol. The company is inviting a dynamic and result oriented person to fill a vacancy of Process Manager Assistant-Distillery existing in the company. The successful candidate will be required to assist in the management of the Distillery in all areas where support is required, but is directly responsible for assisting in the management of production and the management of the shift teams meanwhile driving cost down whilst improving performance.

Job Title: Process Manager Assistant
Qualifications and Competences Required
• A university Degree in Chemical Engineering, Technical qualification in Engineering – Applied sciences or Production Management, Supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing facility or distillery and ability to manage safety.
Tasks:
1. Management of the production process and associated services inclusive, production reports, stock controls, management of shift teams, cost controls and production safety.
2. Ensure all processes are executed in accordance with the company`s safety, health, environment and quality systems and local good practices.
3. Capable of managing a shift-based team of 26 members (8 direct and 18 indirect).
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Capable of managing multifunctional teams.
6. Good understanding and practice of application of industrial relations principles.
7. Provides coaching and development of personnel to achieve the team`s purpose and the individual`s own aspirations.
8. Capable of standing in for production manager as needed and operating at a senior management level.
9. Assists in the management of the distillery to ensure smooth operation of the site.
10. Controls raw material stock and usage, plant efficiencies and overheads to within budget for the distillery.
11. Ensures that the individual areas of the site operate in an efficient and cost effective manner.
12. Problem solving and trouble shoots daily plant problems.
13. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by line manager.
Terms of Service: the successful candidate will be engaged on a permanent contract.
