JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the position:
Millers
pride project Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will provide
technical support in project design and redesign, implementation and
review of monitoring and evaluation activities. Specifically project
M&E Officer will be responsible for compiling, analyzing and
interpreting data in order to track project performance and writing up
all report required.
He/
She will also ensure that feedback is provided within organization and
to all relevant stakeholders regarding project performance. The Officer
will ensure that data reported from all millers and report written meets
the dimensions of data quality i.e. reliability, accuracy, timeliness,
completeness and integrity. In addition, she/he will provide ongoing
support to millers in the various aspects of monitoring and evaluation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct Assessment, Designing & Redesigning and Evaluation exercises of projects.
Facilitate
preparation of Terms Of Reference (TOR), Memorandum of understanding
(MOU) and production of quality reports for Assessment, Baseline Surveys
and Evaluation as per donor requirement.
Facilitate
documentation and sharing of learnings from project Evaluations and
operations Audit reports with respective stakeholders.
Ensure collection of quality data from programs/projects for regular update of organization database.
Facilitate development and monitor the implementation of Tanzania fortification M&E plans.
Undertake review of projects documents for the quality and donor requirement.
Conduct project operation review in Tandale and Manzese, implementation status of operation audit recommendations in projects.
Follow up on timeliness and quality of reports as per Partnership and donors requirements.
Review engagement of external consultants in fortification related activities.
Skills and competencies:
Minimum
Qualification required: Bachelor Degree in food technology, Human
nutritional and any other related field. Experience: 2years work
experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
Technical Skills & Abilities required:
Computer skills especially in Statistical Packages.
Demonstrated ability in monitoring and supervision.
Experience in working with donor funds.
Working knowledge of proposal writing and negotiation skills.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and donors.
Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
Working Environment / Conditions:
Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field
Travel: 20% Domestic/international travel is required.
On call: 10%

JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the position:
The
Millers Pride Lishe Bora project aims to improve the livelihoods of
maize flour farmers and the quality and nutrient content of the flour
they produce by promoting good manufacturing practices, fortifying the
flour and providing better access to markets. The project is currently
targeting 300 medium scale miller producers located in Manzese and
Tandale areas in Dar es salaam.
The
Communications Officer will serve as the communications focal point for
the Millers Pride Lishe Bora project. Their key role will be to develop
and deliver a comprehensive communications plan. The plan seeks to
document project achievements and to develop and disseminate key
communications and marketing resources for public awareness and for
changing behavior of key target groups. He/she will design Internal and
External Communication messages and products; increase project
visibility amongst media, donors and public; and establish
communications channels, tools and products to facilitate engagement and
promote information sharing and learning amongst key stakeholders such
as government on the project and on nutritional related issues.
The
incumbent will also observe the mission and core values of World Vision
and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to
others.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop
and implement a comprehensive communications plan for the project and
lead and manage the delivery of internal and external communications.
Coordinate
with internal stakeholders and the donors and develop resources (i.e.
publications, impact stories, videos and photos) that document
activities that highlight and explain project’s successes and
contributions to target audiences, stakeholders, and partners.
Support
and facilitate the development of targeted communications channels and
products to inform, update, educate and engage key national stakeholders
(e.g. government and the public) on the project and nutrition-sector
issues. Also design, draft and disseminate Information Educational and
Communication (IEC) materials and promotional messages that educates and
supports positive behavior change, for specific target groups within
the project.
Actively
work with the media to promote project visibility via local and
regional media through selective use of radio, television, newspapers,
magazines, and relevant social media platforms. Also manage and
coordinate media and donor visits to project sites.
Provide
guidance on branding requirements for the project and reinforce
application and consistency of WVI communications brand policy across
all internal and external products and materials.
Oversee and supervise the work of outsourced vendors such as graphic designers and printers.
Perform any other tasks as requested.
Skills and Competencies:
Essential qualifications and experience:
A Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, media or any related degree.
At
least 3 years of communications and outreach experience obtained in a
reputable organization where they were responsible for devising,
formulating and implementing communications strategies and plans.
Experience with international development projects preferred.
Excellent writing skills and oral communication skills.
Must be able to design, draft and finalize communications products under tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently.
Complete fluency in oral and written English and Kiswahili.
High level of confidence and confidentiality.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the position:
The
Monitoring and Evaluation- Senior Manager will provide leadership in
the development and implementation of WVT’s M&E system and ensure
adherence with WVI practices and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Organise and standardize monitoring in WVT
• Contextualise WVI monitoring guidelines in a way that is practicable for the national office.
• Develop WVT policies for monitoring that include data collection protocols and procedures.
• Identify
and select Child Wellbeing indicators that reflect WVT strategy to be
used as standardised indicators across area and technical programmes.
• Review
area and technical programmes to ensure alignment with LEAP 3
monitoring standards, including the use of WVT standardised indicators.
• Provide
guidance to DME staff (specialists, officers etc) and area/technical
programme managers in setting up effective monitoring systems
• Ensure that WVT data collection protocols and procedures are followed across area and technical programme.
• Contextualize the Partnership monitoring guidelines in a way that is practicable for WVT.
2. Oversee analysis of monitoring data at National Office level
• Develop a data analysis framework to be used to review management reports from programmes, appropriate to WVT.
• Consolidate and critically analyse monitoring data from all programmes on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure data quality for WVT for all programmes by conducting regular data audits.
3. Manage the sharing and use of monitoring data
• Share
consolidated and analysed information from programmes with Senior
Leadership Team on a regular basis to show progress towards the National
Office strategy.
• Prepare
integrated lessons learnt from regular National Office-level reviews
and reflection of all (technical) programme monitoring data, to be
shared with programming and DME staff.
• Highlight
issues that may need to be shared with government ministries and other
NO-level partners and counterparts, or that require further research,
based on the evidence arising from monitoring data.
• Provide
recommendations to Senior Ledership Team of actions and changes to
programme plans that may be required based on the evidence arising from
monitoring data.
• Guide key stakeholders to implement recommendations, as necessary.
4. Lead the Quality Assurance Team;
• Organise M&E technical orientation for WVT;
• Ensure M&E staff performance benchmarks are set and tracked;
• Provide staff performance oversight including reporting to work and general welfare;
• Ensure stewardship and accountability of WVT material and financial resources.
Skills and competencies:
Minimum Qualification required:
• Post-graduate
qualifications in Statistics, Epidemiology, Applied Science,
Agriculture, Social Science or research based qualifications.
• Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
Experience:
• 10 years proven experience with international development and humanitarian organizations in related field;
Other technical skills and abilities Preferred:
• Conversant in qualitative and quantitative data collection protocols including, sampling.
• Expert
understanding of Logical Framework Matrix, Theory of Change, Pathway of
Change, indicators, Performance Monitoring Framework, Results
Framework, M&E Plans, Performance Indicator Tracking Tables.
• Familiar with mobile applications for data collection.
• Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail in development of written documents.
• Expresses ideas, thoughts and concepts clearly and effectively in writing using correct and appropriate grammar and structure.

Coordinate with water supply and sanitation field staff to
ensure that the various aspects of the WASH Program are integrated.• Development of hygiene promotion topics, hygiene sessions and IEC materials•
Develop materials to promote safe WASH practices, including
