Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability and rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to empower people with
disabilities and their families, improve their quality of life, and ensure access to medical and rehabilitative treatment. Committed to preventing disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities and is currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn Hospital which will serve as a referral centre for high risk and emergency deliveries in the region of Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
The Head of Physical Rehabilitation will lead the Rehabilitation department to provide accessible and long-term quality rehabilitative services. The Head of Physical Rehabilitation will report to the Director Disability Hospital.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Provide relevant program knowledge, analytical leadership, administrative guidance and advice in the day to day management of the PR Department.
· Serve as a liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other healthcare providers
· Maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments
· Responsible for the planning & budget management of the Physical Rehabilitation Department (3 yr vision);
· Set goals and objectives (Plan of Action (PoA)) for the department and mobilize the team to implement activities to accomplish them.
· In collaboration with TATCOT, ensure the setup and running of the TATCOT Faculty at CCBRT.
· Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of all rehabilitation services modalities to be able to evaluate them and give regular feedback to the staff involved
· Use outcome measures to review treatment procedures to determine best practice
Qualifications, skills and Experience:
· Master degree in health field (e.g. public health) or Management field or
· Degree in prosthetics and orthotics (cat 1) and obtained additional qualifications in short courses or
· BSC degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy with additional qualifications in various short courses e.g. Seating management, Clubfeet management, bobath therapy, & leadership/management training
Knowledge / Experience:
· Minimum 7 years experience in similar environment (hospital / health system management) with acute physical rehabilitation services experience preferred and at least two years management experience
· Experience in providing theoretical and practical in-house training courses
· Strong knowledge of administrative and logistic procedures and basic Human resources functions
· Registered with relevant professional body e.g. TAPO, APTA or OTARG
· Fluent in English (spoken and written).

The Senior Procurement Manager is a new position to support the organizational expansion and to ensure internal and external clients’ needs are met. The Senior Procurement Manager will report on day to day matters to the Directors of the Hospitals and for strategic matters to the CEO.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
· Provide leadership to the procurement function
· Managing the Procurement support to the different organizational sections, provide operational guidance and demonstrate the ability to ensure regulatory compliance of operations
· Strives to ensure a suitable and friendly working environment for the (decentralized) Procurement team
· Strategize, plan and develop the procurement services in line with the (future) organizational needs
· Custodian of the Procurement policies and procedures
· Continuously improve operational efficiency through analyzing data and identifying needs and advising management on appropriate measures to ensure continuity of operations and desired service level
· Budget accountability

Qualifications, skills and Experience:
· Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from a reputable higher learning institution
· Minimum of 9 years working experience with a reputable organization
· At least 4 years post experience in the area of supplies management at supervisory level
· Computer literate (Basic computer knowledge with MS-Office and Internet with Effective Browsing Skills)
· Knowledge and experience with SAP
· Fluent in Kiswahili and English (verbal, reading, writing)
· Report writing
· Must be registered by the Procurement professionals body in Tanzania (Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technician’s Board – PSPTB)

Position Description:
FISTULA FIELD COORDINATOR KABANGA – KASULU DISTRICT KIGOMAComprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is supporting rural based mission hospitals in strengthening their capacity in identification and treatment of obstetric fistula. Kabanga Mission Hospital is seeking to recruit energetic Fistula Field Coordinator that support the Obstetric Fistula work.
Responsibilities:
· Organizing and conducting awareness creation meetings within the service area of the Mission for a minimum of two weeks every month
· Preparing and submitting to Hospital administration individual quarterly work plans
· Distribute IEC materials such as fliers and posters in all health facilities within the region and neighboring regions
· Lobby for talks in all councils oin the region on available free fistula services at the Mission
· Collect and manage all monthly data related to fistula work at the Mission hospital
· Provide monthly and quarterly reports to the Mission Hospital and CCBRT
· Monitor compliance to donor requirements
· Participate and/or organize community trainings on Obstetric Fistulae such as those involving Community Health Workers and Traditional Birth Attendants.
· Coordinating and managing Fistula Ambassadors(volunteers) within the region and neighboring regions
· Collecting original receipts from Fistula patients arriving at the Mission Hospital through MPesa referrals
Qualifications & Experience:
· Degree or its equivalent in social socials sciences, humanities, nursing or public health
· A minimum of one year experience in community mobilization or public health work.
· Proven track record of accurate record keeping of financial expenditures
· Using and maintaining the provided motorcycle per established standards (including logbook)
· Computer literate in MS word, excel, access, power point and internet utilization
· Good and sound understanding of community mobilization strategies and techniques
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage
The Field coordinator will be employed by Kabanga Mission Hospital in Kasulu District Kigoma Region.
