POSITION OBJECTIVE
To provide specialist advice based on the application of economic theory and knowledge carry out economic analysis/appraisals of geothermal projects, conduct powder market studies; undertake external business scanning, analysis, forecasts of economic triends evaluation and based on the implications for the finding make recommendations on the ways and strategies to improve company business and investment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain files and other documents in proper order
• Types confidential letters, minutes and other documents as instructed by Supervisor
• Maintain a diary of appointment, advice and remind boss of the same to ensure smoothly running of the office
• Maintains office equipment to ensure they are in good order and report any fault to supervisor timely
• Receives and dispatches and letters from and to respective officials
• Receives calls so as to ensure customers are well attended and forwarded to respective heads to department
• Takes minutes of departmental meetings
• Attending visitors to ensure that they are friendly handled
• Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate Supervisor
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Secretarial studies from recognized Institution, 5 years of demonstrable working experience in a busy environment
• A certificate in Management Development for Executive Assistants

Rotational Status: 6 weeks on 3 week off

KEY RESULT AREA/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ensuring total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other, procedures and guidelines
• Carry out fabrication work and corrective maintenance to maintain Process Plant equipment in safe and efficient manner to achieve production and cost targets
• Efficient manner to achieve production and cost targets
• Assist other mechanical tradesmen in maintenance work as required
• Keep workplace in a safe working condition
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to Mechanical First Line leader on conditions that may affect functionally of equipment

PROFESSIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL DETAILS
• Hold Boiler Making Trade Certificate
• Secondary Education - NTC 111/level 4
Experience and Skills
• Ten years practical work experience in boiler making in which 2 years in a supervisory role
• Previous mining experience in mining plant is essential
• High level of welding and fabrication and welding skills
• Plan plant projects and oversee work to be done
• Good knowledge of mining plant equipment
• Be able to plan, lead, control and delegate tasks and people
• OHSA regulation and compliance
• Familiarity with best practices in workplace Health and Safety, Environmental procedures and legislation
