Reports To: Marketing Director
Context/Scope:
Innovation is seen as the key driver in providing aggressive top-line growth and increasing bottom-line results. The overall goal of innovation is to assist EABL’s growth into new markets, improve quality, extend EABL’s product range, improve production processes and make cost savings.
The Innovation Manager will lead the fight to broaden the SBL portfolio and work closely with Diageo Africa team as well as all functions.
Dimensions
Project leadership of the Innovation agenda (Innovation Pipeline) for the local market as per agreed Business Plan
Market Complexity:
A high degree of ambiguity, improvement and originality is expected from this role to create possibilities as well as finding solutions are critical capabilities.
Lead the Development and execution of the company’s strategic innovation program for SBL (Key Pillar for Growth) in order to achieve it’s objectives.
Lead launch development of new products in SBL .
Be Innovation process champion and drive proactive innovation.
Build innovation capability in market
