KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-To lead in maintaining and updating databases for care and treatment in drop in center (DIC)
-To assist and provide technical assistance to other project’s staffs within the district in collaboration with Program officer
-To implementation and evaluation of monitoring tools and data management
-To ensure that DQA is carried out quarterly according to DQA guidelines and that recommendations following the site DQA visit are implemented
-To train and supervise data entry clerks to ensure timely data entry, cleaning on a routine basis, generation of data queries and routine progress reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor’s degree on social works with certified training in Computer Science, IT/HMIS, data management or a related discipline. Advanced skills in computer programming and analytical software is an advantage
-A background in nursing, health science or a related discipline are an advantage
-At least three years of experience in relevant career with MS Access application development and use, data analyses with standard software packages and implementing protocols for data quality assurance will be an advantage.
-Strong supervisory and management skills
-Ability to work independently and ability to copy with team work
-Fluent in English & Kiswahili with focus on both written and spoken
-Experience working with NGO’s and/or donor-funded programs is an advantage

-To conduct monthly meetings with other peer educators and post –test clubs to enhance key population health services at DIC
-Work in collaboration with clinical officer and nurses to ensure all HIV positive clients) FSWs/MSM) are Escorted to CTC services
-Ensure Documentation of FSWs/MSM enrolled referred to CTC and ensure remain on services to avoid Lost-to –follow up
-Enroll100% of all HIV positive FSWs/MSM to care and treatment( CTC)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-This is a clinical post for delivery of biomedical service (HTC, STI, TB, VMMC, FP alcohol/drug, GBV, sex risk, enhancing retention and minimizing lost to follow up, effective adherence and psychosocial support); supervises the nurse(s); Also he/she should be sufficient to manage up to 30 clients per day, review data report and discuss it with the program manager and Case Manager in line with HIV/AIDS National standards.
-Lead, the coordinate and supervise provision of HIV treatment, care and support, integrated FP / HIV services, TB and other related conditions for all KVPs Train staff and community health workers on clinical management and integration of HIV, FP, TB screening, and STIs
-Ensure all clinical procedures at drop in centers(DIC), health facilities and mobile outreaches follow national guidelines and protocols developed by the MOHSW
-Provide on-going coaching, mentoring and hands-on supervision to clinicians in drop in centers and health facilities
-Lead the process of developing protocols and standard operating procedures for referrals and case management of various HIV and related conditions
-Ensure linkages of KVPs to care and treatment, and also other behavior and structural services which facilitate positive protective behavior
-Facilitate training of service providers in of HIV treatment, care and support, integrated FP / HIV services Oversee efficient running of curative and preventive medical services
-Routine supervision of peer educators at DIC and ensure all HIV positive clients are given referred at CTC and ensure are retained on services
-Screening of STIs, opportunity infections and other related medical conditions affecting KVPs as appropriate in accordance with the standard treatment guidelines
-Provide care for GBV victims, including post-exposure prophylaxis
-Provide on usual mentorship to peer educators and build their capacity on provision of HIV education, FP, outreach services ,counseling and advocacy for KVPs to access services at DIC
-With coordination to program officer Clinical officer will need to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports relating to curative and preventive clinical activities; assist in preparation of annual proposal and progress reports as per donor requirements
-Participate in various project activities that will be assigned by program officer
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-First degree in Medicine, surgery or Nursing from a recognized institution
-Robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment
-Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature HIV/AIDS, FP, TB and STIs
-Experience in KVP-focused clinical services is a plus
-Minimum of 5 years work experience
-Have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to prioritize duties and work under minimal supervision.
-Demonstrated experience in clinical training and mentoring

-Obtain approvals from the Director and from the donors on all procurements and purchases for the projects and for the organization.
-Monitor the expenditures to ensure that program funds are utilized appropriately by the close of the fiscal year.
-To prepare financial reports as per reporting schedule or other may be asked by Executive director or donor
-Provide orientation and training to the organization staff on cost-effective management.
-Ensure that all financial reporting is completed on time and submitted to donors.

-Work closely with government authorities at LGA are well engaged in the project and sharing with them some reports as per directives and MoU to be signed and
-Other responsibilities as will be assigned for the betterment of the project and KIWOHED as well
-Ensure timely preparation of financial retirement with all necessary source of evidence to be shared with Account with focus on every incurred expense during project implementation
