Born in Bangladesh , BRAC’s development success story has reached 11 other developing countries in Asia and Africa BRAC Maendaleo Tanzania is going to start Play based ECD project from January 2016 and it will run up to December 2018. BRAC in Tanzania is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill up the following position.

Position: Field trainer, ECD- BEP

REPORTS TO: PROJECT MANAGER

Duties and responsibilities

· Organize all the trainings for staffs and Play Lab leaders

· Developing the training modules and out line

· Timely follow up visit in the field

· Training and providing technical input to the program organizers

· Ensuring timely submission of reports to the project manager and share also with the area manager.

· Analyzing monitoring and research reports

· Maintaining regular liaison with Area manager, monitoring unit and project manager

· Maintaining liaison with government curriculum and training unit, education office, school authority and other development agencies

· Support to develop quality monitoring tools and learning assessment to ensure quality

· Must have to move to the field at least 50% of work

Experience requirements

§ Those with experience in ECD projects will have an added advantage.

Educational requirements

Graduate in Education/ Early Child development or any other related field.

Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken

POSITION: AREA MANAGER, ECD-BEP

REPORTS TO: PROJECT MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

· Planning and management of education program in assigned areas

· Ensuring resource mobilization for expansion of the program

· Ensuring timely and proper utilization of budget

· Ensuring timely submission of reports to the Project Manager

· Recruitment and development of staffs and play leaders

· Appraising job performance of Program organizers And play leaders

· Analyzing monitoring, audit and research reports

· Ensuring program quality and heading the quality assurance in assigned area

· Responsible for overall management of procurement, logistics and administration of ECD project in the area

· Maintaining regular liaison with country office Education team

· Maintaining liaison with government, donors, school authority and other development agencies

· Must have to move to the field at least 70% of work

Experience requirements

· At least one year experience is preferable .

Educational requirements

Graduate in Education/Early child development or any other related field.

POSITION: PROGRAM ORGANIZER, ECD-BEP

REPORTS TO: AREA MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities.

1. Ensure survey, children selection, play lab house selection according to criteria, primary school selection and possible play leaders list

2. Ensure children attendance more than 90%,monthly parents and community meeting, play lab materials and overall quality of play lab

3. Conduct monthly refresher training and ensure play leader’s development

4. Ensuring timely report submission to the Area Manager and preserve

5. Ensure monitoring and management’s findings

6. Maintaining liaison with district education office, Government primary schools ,Ward and street leaders offices

7. Attend in staff meetings and develop monthly refresher module

8. Must have to move to the field at least 90% of work

Experience requirements

Advance diploma/Graduate in Education/ Early child development or any other related field.

Reportable to: The Program Manager-Education,(BMT).

Key Responsibilities

· Overall planning and management of ECD project.
