Your new company A leading financial services firm is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst to come on board.
Your New Role
You will be required to consult with other IT areas and the wider businesses to provide professional support for major components of the company's information security infrastructure. You will contribute to the development and implementation of security architecture, standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and systems. The role requires a forward thinking individual with the ability to speak with the business and operational infrastructure personnel regarding new and existing technologies, making recommendations when required. You will also consult on new security tools to the senior management and provide guidance and expertise during implementation. You will also ensure that all significant security concerns are addressed immediately and take action to mitigate risk ensuring appropriate standards are established and published.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication and high attention to detail. IT experience within the network, firewall and operating systems technologies would also be beneficial. Exposure to the auditing of internal systems and controls such as;
ISO27001/2
PCI-DSS, SOX.
Whilst the majority of the role will be related to Information Security/GRC principles, a background in the technical aspects of Cyber Security is also valued. Industry relevant certifications/qualifications are desirable (i.e. CISSP, CISM, CISA, BSc/MSc in relevant area of study.) What you'll get in return
