RELATIONSHIP MANAGER – ACQUIRING (1 POSITION)

Role Profile

Reporting to the Head of Acquiring, the successful candidate’s overall responsibility will be to initiate new business and support acquiring functions within the Asian Business Community in the country and advising the management on best practices that can change the landscape of the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Unlock and grow merchant acquiring business with a bias in Asian businesses

• Drive aggressive recruitment of good quality merchants

• Ensure that all the merchants in his/her portfolio are active

• Keep on advising the bank on best solutions in regards to his/her portfolio

• Management of key merchants’ relationships within the Asian Business Community

• Ensure high productivity levels by Merchant Acquiring supervisors through performance reviews by way of mentoring and coaching

• Connect with branch staff to deliver on POS revenues

• Ensure 100% compliance to the Bank’s policies and procedures

• Promote the Bank’s corporate image

Candidates Profile and Qualification

• An O –level pass

• A Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field from an accredited institution

• Professional qualifications in Marketing will be an added advantage

• At least 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management

• Banking experience especially in card business is desired

• Effective writing and presentation skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Excellent interpersonal, selling and networking skills

• Able to work independently, with minimum supervision

• Strong Leadership skills

• Team player and team developer

• Good planning and organization skills

• Good working knowledge of MS office suites

• Ability to work under pressure and within set deadlines
